We did a search for breakfast spots and this was a hit. Our waitress Rachel was exceptional! Large selection, ample portions (I took half home) and the best homemade raisin toast. Cute place out in the country.

First time being at Sugarcreek Restaurant. Add the steak omelette with pepper jack cheese and homemade bread. Staff was very accommodating very talkative and inviting. The layout was comfort country style. They have a bloody mary bar on Sunday which we will be back. Headlights variety for canned and bottled alcohol as far as a wide variety of well spirits. Will definitely be back!

His kind words and prompt service was great since it was a birthday celebration! First time visiting and I will be back.

If you're in the heart of Big Rapids, MI, and searching for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Sugar Creek Restaurant. Tucked away at 10431 Northland Dr, this charming eatery combines homely ambiance with a menu that promises to satisfy and impress.

One of the standout features of Sugar Creek is its commitment to quality, evidenced by the rave reviews from patrons like Mary Steele who remarked on the "best homemade raisin toast" and generous portion sizes. The breakfast options alone are a testament to their dedication; the steak omelette, highly praised by newcomers like David Ball, showcases how they elevate simple dishes to extraordinary with ingredients like pepper jack cheese and homemade bread.

But the charm doesn’t stop at the food. Sugar Creek fosters a warm, inviting atmosphere, aptly noted by customers who appreciate the attentive service. Rick’s commendable service during celebratory meals and the contagious banter among staff make every visit feel personal. With a cozy, country-style layout, it's the perfect spot to unwind, especially on Sundays when they offer a fun and enticing bloody mary bar.

The menu at Sugar Creek is an eclectic mix, ensuring something for everyone. From towering chef salads, gracefully described by Jeri Landheer, to the indulgent "loaded hash browns" savored by Sheryl Mcguire, there is an abundance of flavor on offer. Each dish speaks to the craft of home-cooked meals, making visitors feel right at home.

Of course, no review would be complete without noting the occasional hiccup, such as the need for some chair upkeep that Sheryl pointed out. However, these minor setbacks do little to overshadow the culinary delights available. Plus, the convenience of being able to pay at the table is a nice touch that allows guests to wrap up their meal smoothly.

With comforting food, personable service, and a selection that guarantees a repeat visit, Sugar Creek Restaurant is indeed a gem worth exploring. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to carve out some time for this delightful escape in the countryside.
